Pitt Licenses Microneedle Patch Technology to Pittsburgh Startup

The University of Pittsburgh has licensed technology for a microneedle patch to deliver drug to treat and immunize skin cancer patients. SkinJect, Inc., is a Pittsburgh-based company formed around technology developed by Louis Falo, M.D., who chair's Pitt's Department of Dermatology, and O.Burak Ozdoganlar, Ph.D., Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
