Dr. Patrick Pagano, Professor & Vice Chair, Graduate Education Director, Molecular Pharmacology Graduate Program, has developed a method of treating a patient with a heart or lung condition mediated by Nox2. The method comprises administering to a patient an aerosolized polypeptide that decreases superoxide anion production by Nox2.
